Description
Bruno Clair founded the estate that bears his name in 1979. Based out of Marsannay at the Northern extremity of the Cote de Nuits, the estate now covers 24 hectares of vineyards stretching the length of the Cote d'Or with the most substantial holdings in Gevrey-Chambertin.
"Les Grasses Tates" mean "Fat head", which refers to large outcroppings of bedrock. In French, the top pf the bedrock is called the head.
