Return Policy


At Winelouvre, we want all our customers to be completely satisfied with their purchases and indeed our service – it’s what sets us apart.

We will not be responsible for late delivery due to the incorrect information/address or instructions provided by your end.

We do recommend you read our Return & Refund Policy prior to making a purchase from our website, so you are familiar with our policy on return & refund. We reserve the right to reject any return & refund deemed unfit or unreasonable.

Return & Refund / Replacement Policy

  • Damaged Goods – in the unlikely event that a wine be damaged in delivery we will gladly offer an immediate replacement. Refund will be made if the item ordered is not available. We advise you to check your wines thoroughly before acknowledging the courier's receipt of delivery. Our drivers will note any breakages at the point of delivery. Please call us immediately to inform us of any such occurrence.
  • Faulty Goods – If a wine is found to be ‘corked’ or faulty we will be happy to offer a replacement or refund to you. Notification must be given to us within 3 working days of delivery. The bottle sent back should still have its original content as empty bottles will not be eligible for a replacement or refund. Returned bottles must be more than half full for assessment. Winelouvre reserves the right to reject replacement or refund due to unreasonable circumstances provided to claim returns.
  • Incorrect Goods Delivered – On the rare occasions this happens we offer immediate replacement of the incorrect goods, on return of the bottle(s) in question. Please do check that the delivered wine matches your order.



Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. For all cash payments, we do not do refunds. You will receive store credit in the amount of the payment which you can use on the website for any future purchase.
